What will be left for me if unnecessary things are scraped off?

This has always been my underlying thought.

I wonder what I would be like if I only had a bare heart without a social position, desires, pride etc.

I wonder what is the most important thing.

Woke early in the morning.
Found your thought.
Sometimes I think something similar.
Sometimes I look in the mirror, in my eyes, and think that I can see the core, the essential "me" that has always been the same.

Thank you for your comments all the time!

I wonder if we have the similar way to think.
I know that what will remain is “myself”, but in the reality, I’m still pursuing something useless. Human beings are really greedy. I want to be “who I am” that satisfies myself at least until I die. Although this is not an excuse, I think it’s a bit better than living without noticing anything at all.
